I just wish to congratulate you for this original idea. IER has grown since its first episode and I appreciate your efforts aiming to provide the most interesting news from the IE engine modding underground.
I am looking forward to the next episodes where GURU modders like Ascension64 and Horred The Plague should find space! Keep it up!
I like the idea of a community radio podcast that keeps everyone up to date on new updates/releases, advancements, news and reviews.
My small criticism is with the amount of web site url references mentioned. I think it detracts from the subject slightly by mentioning and repeating the urls. My suggestion would be to refer the listeners to the IER website for details of the sites mentioned in the broadcast, thereby covering that information for those that want to follow up on each IER item and allowing more air time for the subject at hand.
Keep up the excellent work, it is a pleasure to sit back and hear about all things Infinity Engine related
The mention of URL’s on the show has been a touchy subject. Since the beginning of IER, I made sure to mention in each episode where a user can download a certain mod; then, in one episode, when I accidentally failed to mention a URL, I promptly received an Email about it. So, while I never intend to subtract credit from authors, there will be mistakes made from time to time. Since that error, I made sure to mention URL’s two, even three times, whether or not it interfered with the flow of the show.
What I can do is think of a way to still give full credit to the author “on the air” but make it flow a little better. I believe this is what you are getting at. I will see what I can do.
